March is a busy month for Leeds NW Labour Party members and registered supporters.
Friday 3 March – a Fundraising Quiz night organised by Weetwood/Headingley branch,
7.00 pm at the New Headingley Club, St Michaels Lane.
£5 and £3 concessions.

There will also be a raffle and a very reasonably priced bar open all evening.
Open to all members and registered supporters, friends and family.

Tuesday 7 March –7 p.m. Heart Café, Headingley: the second in the series of our very popular guided political discussions.

Following the success of the last meeting, Dr Charlie Dannreuther from the University of Leeds has agreed to host a second meeting to discuss the themes of uncertainty and insecurity relating to work, housing and personal finance.

Charlie will kick off with a brief talk, to give members some background information on the themes. Then we’ll break up into small groups – to discuss any comments, ideas or experiences that members wish to share.

The aim is to give members the opportunity to discuss these themes in an informal and non-judgemental arena- with the hope of creating ideas for future campaigns and shaping the direction of the local party!

This is a very friendly and informal meeting and members can contribute as much or as little as they like to the discussion.
