Last Saturday thousands of Labour Party members, activists and supporters held campaign events across the country speaking to people about the underfunding and understaffing in the NHS and social care, and the need to keep continued pressure on the Tory government.
Here in North West Leeds, in Headingley and Otley, Labour Party members were out chatting to shoppers, many of whom were angry at the state of the NHS and worried about its future under this Tory government.
The message was clear: Labour created the NHS to care for us all, now it’s time to care for the NHS.
Leeds NW Labour Party would like to thank Costa – the free cups of hot-chocolate were really welcome on such a cold day!
If you missed us on Saturday there’s still time to sign our petition and get involved in our campaign.
