There are only seven weekends left before May 7.
So do ONE thing this weekend to help Labour win here in Leeds NW.
Labour volunteers will be out all day on Saturday 21 March across the constituency – talking to the people of Leeds NW in a combination of street stalls, doorstep and telephone canvassing – and in one of our regular Litter Picks in the Tinshill/Ireland Wood area.
We kick off in Otley and Yeadon, where we’ll be at work from 10 a.m.
Meet at the Philip Coyne Labour Rooms on Walkergate.
At 12 p.m. our volunteers in Weetwood will be joining local community members for the seventh of our regular litter picks – in the woodland between the backs of the houses on Iveson Rise and Luttrell Crescent
Meet on the lower corner of Iveson Rise and Luttrell Crescent.
In response to local people’s comments and photos we are organising a number of Clean Up events in the area. We really want to support residents to clean up these public open spaces for us all to enjoy.
We’ll bring litter pickers, bags and all that’s needed. Or just come along anyway to meet Alison Garthwaite, the local Labour party candidate. More detals here http://wp.me/p3nrSW-7Sg
Then at 2.30 p.m. people will be meeting up for action in Adel and Wharfedale
You can join Mark Henley and Alex Sobel for doorknocking at 2.30pm at the bottom of Asda Car Park, Holt Park
Finally, volunteers will be out in Headingley and Weetwood from 4pm to 6pm
Meet at the Campaign Office, Regency House, 90-92 Otley Road
Leeds LS6 4BA
There’ll be telephone canvassing in the Otley rooms 10am to 12pm and the campaign office 4pm till 6pm.
More detais of all activities here.
Time is running on. But we’re running faster.
Across Leeds NW we’re out and about – talking to you, finding out what matters to you, helping do something about that.
You can help us, too.
Do ONE thing this weekend to ensure the election of Alex Sobel here in Leeds NW.
