Fort BramhopeThis fencing on the Otley Road A660 in Bramhope was erected to identify two small portions of privately owned land. Residents have complained that the fencing is an eyesore.

The parish council and residents claim that a public right of way transects the land. The parish council owns all the land surrounding the land. The landowner objects to the public right of way here. Adel and Wharfedale Labour Party have discussed the right of way and support the parish council and residents.

A public enquiry is to be convened in the civic hall on April 29th and residents are welcome to attend. Attendees should ring the council if they are likely to attend. Ask for the public rights of way office. Adel and Wharfedale Labour Party hope to be represented.
